Please note that Pay-Per-Use API Plans charge subscribers based on overages. Overages are calculated and invoiced to the subscriber at the end of their quota period. Once the quota period ends, API Providers will receive the payout for this transaction with the marketplace fee removed via PayPal.
If an API Provider notices that a user is incurring a higher-than-average overage, it is advisable to consider blocking them from the API and contacting them to ensure they are aware of their usage. Oftentimes, high overages are incurred by subscribers who have a bug or loop in their application, making them more susceptible to a failed or disputed payment.
