Although API subscriptions are based on a monthly billing period; if you choose to unsubscribe from an API, your access will immediately be cut off. It is also important to note that canceled API subscriptions cannot be recovered, all remaining quotas will not be carried over to a new subscription.
Furthermore, any requests made to the API after unsubscribing will no longer work unless you have an active subscription. To avoid any interruptions in your usage of the API, we suggest keeping your subscription active until you are finished using it before unsubscribing.
